The organizers of the Replica festival are a creative group [antiparty gang] that has been shaking Almaty (Kazakhstan) cultural life with its experimental events since 2004. The audience in Almaty is familiar with such "brand" events as "Poldnik", "Technica Molodezhy" and "Antiparty". The culmination point of all the actions of the group was the international festival for experimental media-art REPLICA, that was held in October 2006 and became the first event of its kind in Kazakhstan. The participants of this festival were the projects from Georgia, Austria, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan. The culmination of the group's activities was the two-days festival REPLICA 2007, that took place on 5 and 6 of October 2007 in the Da Freak club.

Press about [antiparty gang]:

"What makes the performances of antiparty gang so unique? The fact that it is not only relaxation and amusement but an experiment broadening an idea of contemporary electronic art."
Expert Kazakhstan

"[antiparty gang] with pleasure rejected all the attributes of "correct" and generally accepted club parties and started introducing their own aesthetics. Declaring a war to house conjucture, the gang offered an audience music of another kind."
GazetaKZ

"No" to conjucture! "Yes" to cultural shock!"
