MOTOR (Russia)

Vadim Ougrumov (aka Motor) started playing techno at the end of 80-s. In 90-s his tracks were played on cult radio "Station"; now Vadim takes care of net-label TOP-40 and organizes festival for audiovisual arts Urban Soundscape.
Music of Motor is a airy ambient, minimalistic audio collages, made from sounds of surrounding reality; here one can find excusite beauty, and sharp noise as well.
Michael Mayer (of Kompakt) describes music of Motor as "maybe the most wicked and euphoric music on Earth"..
